Joint FLX Review

by Cynthia Richards (2019-09-09)

They usually come with centimeters marked Joint FLX on the one side, and inches on the opposite, but either will work. You will also need some sort of non-toxic marker that works safely, without adverse reaction, on your skin. This will also probably be much easier if you can get someone to help do it. Second, to start taking your measurements, make a mark at the center of your knee cap. Next, make two more marks, one 6 inches (15 cm) above and another 6 inches (15 cm) below the knee center Then, with your leg straightened, carefully measure the thickness around at each of the marked spots. Take care to keep the leg straight and the tape measure as flat as possible against your skin all the way around the leg. If the knee is bent, or the measuring tape is angled at all, the circumference changes and you will not get an accurate reading. Of course, remember to write down your results instead of relying on memory. Then, you are ready to order the right knee brace for you, and it should help as intended.
