Focus and Scope

The International Journal of Civil Aviation (IJCA) is a scholarly publication for researchers, academicians and professionals in the civil aviation industry. It is published as biannual. The IJCA accepts manuscripts on wide range significant research topics that related to civil aviation: technical, non-technical, operational, strategic, financial, managerial, law and regulations components of civil aviation organizations, airlines and airports. The journal aims to provide scholarly and original research in the following broad categories of appropriate topics include, but are not limited to: Corporate Administration, Management, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Corporate Sustainability and relevant subjects; Strategic, Operational, Technical issues; Airport management, planning and development; Airline management, fleet planning, scheduling; Aviation Policy, Law and regulations; Airlines and Cargo; Safety and Security, Human factors; Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering, Engine and framework; Sustainable Development issues and environmental impacts.

Peer Review Process

We use a double-blind system for peer review; both reviewers’ and authors’ identities remain anonymous. The paper will be reviewed by at least two experts: one editorial staff member and at least one external reviewer. The review process may take two to three weeks.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
