The Hypocrisy in the Public Display of the Ten Commandments in Texas in the United States of America: A Theological and Ethical Critique

Abstract

Politicians often seek to post a copy of the Ten Commandments in public schools or governmental buildings to proclaim the values that they believe represent America. It is their effort to create a conservative “Christian” society in our country, and it is part of the movement called “Make America Great Again.” However, these politicians and their followers are unaware that their own political views and actions actually violate these Ten Commandments in several ways.
