Call for Reviewers: International Journal of Regional Development

The International Journal of Regional Development is expanding its international panel of peer reviewers. The journal publishes research on regional development, with a focus on sub-national, cross-border and supranational regions, in one volume each December. Every manuscript is assessed by two external reviewers and one editor under a double-blind process.

We are looking for scholars and senior practitioners with expertise in one or more of the journal's five themes, a doctorate or equivalent research record, and working proficiency in English. Reviewing experience is welcome but not required, and early-career researchers with a strong publication record are encouraged to apply. Reviewers based in the regions the journal studies are particularly welcome.

What it involves: Two to three manuscripts a year, assigned according to your stated expertise; a report within four weeks; and a declaration of any conflict of interest.

What you receive: A named acknowledgement in the volume's editorial, a reviewer certificate on request, a citable record of your reviewing, and early editorial attention for your own submissions.

To apply, send your name, position, institution and country, e-mail, ORCID (if available), a two-line statement of expertise and a short CV to ijrd@macrothink.org, subject line "IJRD reviewer application — [your name]". Applications are acknowledged within two weeks; the call remains open throughout the year.
