Research on the Digital Transformation of Translation Teaching in Universities under the Background of New Liberal Arts
Abstract
Against the dual backdrop of the ongoing deepening of New Liberal Arts and the rapid iteration of generative AI, university translation teaching is facing an urgent need for paradigm reconstruction. The industry is in dire need of universities to break through traditional barriers and cultivate interdisciplinary foreign language talents who possess advanced translation skills, profound humanistic literacy, keen digital awareness, and critical innovative thinking. Consequently, digital transformation has emerged as the core driving force in reshaping the translation education ecosystem. In light of the practical bottlenecks currently faced by translation education in the integration of digital intelligence, this study proposes three strategies to improve the quality of university translation teaching: developing smart translation courses, refining diversified evaluation mechanisms, and deepening the integration of industry and education. The aim is to provide feasible implementation paths for enhancing the quality and efficiency of translation education in the new era.
