Focus and Scope

Journal of Educational Issues is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published semiannually by Macrothink Institute. The journal publishes original research on educational policy, practice, institutions, and emerging challenges in education. It welcomes empirical and conceptual studies of educational leadership, curriculum, teacher education, educational technology, and equity.

Peer Review Process

We use a double-blind system for peer review; both reviewers’ and authors’ identities remain anonymous. The paper will be reviewed by at least two experts: one editorial staff member and at least one external reviewer. The review process may take four to ten weeks.

 

Publication Frequency

Semiannual, published in June and December

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
