Abstract


Development of information resources will lead to changes in the role of managers in decision making, and they are always required to be able to obtain the most accurate information, and the current can be used in the decision-making process. An information system is a combination of work procedures, information, people, and information technology organized to achieve objectives within an organization by providing information for decision makers. In which every manager must manage all information resources effectively and efficiently as possible Because information has Become one of the resources that must be managed properly. The purpose of this research is to find out information about a company's systems, information resources planning and systems of information on information resources can be used to control information management. By limiting the scope of the discussion addressed only Reviews those elements of information systems and information systems role, approach to strategic planning information resources and information systems models of information resources. The results of the study noted that information is an integral part of the (human and equipment) that work together to carry out the processing of the information from the beginning of the collection, processing, storage and distribution, where managers need information before taking a decision.
